PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical subscriber line terminating device which improves band utilization efficiency by switching a calculating method of a plurality of queue statuses. SOLUTION: A first upstream queue control unit 19 calculates a plurality of queue statuses corresponding to a plurality of thresholds on the basis of an upstream frame to be held by an upstream queue memory 18. A second upstream queue control unit 20 calculates a plurality of queue statuses corresponding to at least one threshold in time series on the basis of an upstream frame to be held by the upstream queue memory 18. A control frame processor 21 selectively causes the queue control units 19 and 20 to operate, and transmits a report including the plurality of calculated queue statuses to the optical subscriber line termination apparatus. Accordingly, the method of calculating the plurality of queue statuses is switched, and thus, the band utilization efficiency can be improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
