PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cycloolefin-based polymer composition excellent in the transparency and resistance to solvent crack and to provide a molding material containing this composition. SOLUTION: The cycloolefin-based polymer composition which contains (A) a crystalline cycloolefin-based polymer having a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) of 1,000-1,000,000 and having the melting point and (B) an amorphous cycloolefin-based polymer having a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) of 10,000-1,000,000 and having no melting point, is characterized in that the said cycloolefin-based polymer composition has a ratio of (A) the above crystalline cycloolefin-based polymer to the whole polymer composition of 1-99% by weight; and the molding material contains this composition as a resin component.
