PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap tightening apparatus capable of easily adjusting tightening torque so that opening torque of a cap satisfies a predetermined range and also precisely correcting it. SOLUTION: The cap tightening apparatus includes a rotation amount control part 55 for controlling a rotation amount of the cap when loosening the cap C, a rotation amount detection sensor 32 for detecting the rotation amount of the cap C, and a ROM 52 for storing the tightening torque and the opening torque for every measurement. A torque correction calculation part 57 calculates a parameter correlating the tightening torque with the opening torque from a plurality of values of the stored tightening torque and opening torque to provide a correction amount of the tightening torque for every measurement.
