PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary motor driven type serving cart capable of sufficiently exhibiting performance inherent in a charging battery by discharging until battery capacity becomes below predetermined one or smaller once in a plurality of times, in the auxiliary motor driven type serving cart running using the chargeable charging battery as a drive source. SOLUTION: In environment setting processing (S7), as a charge start condition of a battery 10, an optimal charging condition for calculating charging-needed battery capacity based on consumed battery capacity obtained in immediately before battery charging processing (S4) and a charging condition using predetermined charging-needed battery capacity can be set. Setting of the optimal charging condition enables discharging until the battery capacity becomes below reference charging-needed battery capacity, once in a plurality of times. Based on execution of battery charging processing (S4), when consumed battery capacity in a charging state storing region 32a to store data on battery capacity never become below the reference charging-needed battery capacity, execution of charging of the battery 10 is postponed.
