PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device capable of simply reducing the relative rotational resistance of an input shaft and an output shaft. SOLUTION: The steering device is equipped with the input shaft 1 having a bar inserting hole 1a, a torsion bar 2 with one end fixed to the hole 1a, and the output shaft 3 coupled with the other end of the torsion bar 2 and having a fit-in hole 3a in which the other end of the input shaft 1 is fitted, wherein a film layer 9 of fluoro-resin to decrease the relative rotational resistance of the input shaft 1 and output shaft 3 is provided on either of the fit-in hole 3a and the fit-in part 1b of the input shaft 1 into the fit-in hole 3a.
