PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor nozzle for a cleaner and a vacuum cleaner with enhanced dust scraping effect and with excellent dust capturing efficiency regardless of the surface to be cleaned, and with little run-out at the high-speed rotation. SOLUTION: The floor nozzle is connected to a vacuum cleaner body with a built-in electric blower in such a way as the nozzle communicates with the cleaner body for rotatably storing a rotor. The rotor is composed of one or a plurality of belt-like bodies whose cross-section is U-shaped, a core wire, and a cleaning body around a rotor arbor. Alternatively, a channel brush composed of the cleaning body and the belt-like body are spirally disposed and ends of the channel brush are spirally fixed to the rotor arbor near both ends of the arbor by a holder means. Thereby, the dust scraping effect is enhanced and the run-out at the high-speed rotation can be reduced, so that the dust capturing efficiency is improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
