摘要 <p>An endoscope wherein a drive source unit (8B) is detachably connected to the base end side large diameter part (15) of a scope part (8A). When the drive source unit (8B) is connected to the large diameter part (15), the operating shaft bodies (37 to 40) of the large diameter part (15) are engaged with the drive shaft bodies (60, 61) of the drive source unit (8B), and the drive shaft bodies (60, 61) are operated to advance straight based on a drive force generated from the drive force generating means (19) of the drive source unit (8B). Ones of the operating shaft bodies (37 to 40) are operated according to the straight advancing operation of the drive shaft bodies (60, 61). The operations of the operating shaft bodies (37, 39) as ones of the operating shaft bodies operated by the drive shaft bodies (60, 61) are transmitted to the other operating shaft bodies (38, 40) through pinion gears (35, 36) in the opposite direction to the operating direction of the either operating shaft bodies (37, 39). A curving operation cable (14) is towed by the operation of the operating shaft bodies moving to the drive source unit (8B) to curve a curved part (10).</p>
