The device has a centering slider (17) arranged in the proximity of a contacting device. The centering slider has a starting inclination (19) projecting in to a loading space of an electronic component (7) transverse to a loading direction. The starting inclination presses the component into a center position, during the movement of the component in a direction of a connection contact of the contacting device. The centering slider is movably fastened at a centering plate, which is firmly connected with the contacting device.
