<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a toner coat time to a developing roller at the initial stage of use of a cartridge. <P>SOLUTION: The cartridge attachable/detachable to an image forming apparatus comprises a toner storage part 16 for storing toner; an opening part 35 for feeding toner in the storage part 16 to a feed roller 20; a toner seal 901 for sealing the opening part 35; a carrier screw 33 for feeding the toner from the opening part 35, since the toner is carried from one edge part in the longitudinal direction in the storage part 16 to the other edge part; and a coiling member 902 for opening the toner seal 901 from the downstream side in the toner carrier direction of the carrier screw 33 to the upstream side, by being linked with the driving of the carrier screw 33; and if the velocity of carrying the toner from one edge part in the longitudinal direction to the other edge part by the carrier screw 33 is V1, and the velocity of opening the toner seal 901 from the downstream side in the toner carrying direction to the upstream side by the coiling member 902 is V2, the relation between the velocities V1>V2 is established. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
