STEREOSCOPIC OBSERVATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic observation apparatus where a main surgeon and a surgery cooperator can secure a maximum operation space at a position realizing positional relation optimal for communication between the main surgeon and the surgery cooperator and grasping a situation in a surgical operation, and where the main surgeon and the surgery cooperator can make observation nearly simultaneously while minimizing a burden on the eyes.

SOLUTION: The stereoscopic observation apparatus provided with an imaging means 1 for imaging two images having a parallax between each other; a projection means 21 for projecting the imaged two images and a display panel 22 having image forming means for guiding the two images to the right and left eyes of an observer is provided with an optical path dividing means 23 for dividing projection light from the projection means 21 toward different optical paths. The display panel 22 has two image forming means 22a and 22b arranged opposing each other, and projection images passing through the respective optical path divided through the optical path dividing means 23 are guided to the eyes of the respective observers positioned at opposing positions through the image forming means 22a and 22b.
