<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a webbing length adjusting structure for a seat belt device capable of easily eliminating an excessive part of a webbing by interlocking with a buckle removing operation when removing a seat belt by removing a tongue from the buckle. <P>SOLUTION: A cover 11 for covering outside of the tongue 4 is provided to be fitted freely to move in the tongue 4 installing direction. When removing the tongue 4, the cover 11 is moved to a side opposite to the buckle 5, and a tongue fitting part 10a of the webbing 10 is taken into by the predetermined length to shorten the whole length of the webbing 10 by the length of the webbing 10 taken into the cover 11. When the seat belt device is not used, the webbing 10 is tensed to improve appearance, and a passenger is prevented from getting stuck with the webbing 10 when getting on/off, and the webbing 10 is prevented form being caught in a door. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
