<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which relaxes a force imparted to the end of an optical fiber. <P>SOLUTION: This optical connector 20 is attached to the end of an optical fiber 30, and is equipped with: a fiber end holding member 26 for holding the end of the optical fiber 30; and a fiber winding member 28 having an annular circumferential face 28a.
