<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handling device capable of efficiently processing information on a plurality of articles to be carried. <P>SOLUTION: This handling device 1 is provided with a conveyor 2 for carrying a workpiece 100, a visual sensor 3 for detecting the position of the workpiece 100 by acquiring images of a plurality of tracking ranges R5 dividing a belt 12, an encoder 4 for detecting moving amount of the belt 12, a tracking manager 21b for monitoring moving amount of the plurality of tracking ranges R5 based on the moving amount detected by the encoder 4 and specifying the tracking ranges R5 passing through a workpiece detecting area R12, a workpiece manager 21c for selecting an article in the tracking ranges R5 specified by the tracking manager 21b, and a control part 21d for controlling an operation of a robot 5 to hold the workpiece 100 selected by the workpiece manager 21c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
