<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element having high luminous efficiency and capable of obtaining long-life blue luminescence and a new pyrene derivative achieving the electroluminescent element. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention provides the pyrene derivative having a specific structure, and an organic electroluminescent element in which at least one layer of an organic thin film contains the pyrene derivative as a single component or a component of a mixture, in the organic electroluminescent element in which the organic thin film layer composed of one layer or a plurality of layers containing at least a luminescent layer is sandwiched between a cathode and an anode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
