<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time management system capable of preventing the time of an inner clock included in a client from being illegally operated. <P>SOLUTION: The client 50 accesses a lower time server 30 to request identification information. The client 50 judges whether the identification information transmitted from the lower time server 30 is regular identification information or not. In the case of the regular identification information, the client 50 requests time information to the lower time server 30 and adjusts the time of the client's inner clock in the client 50 on the basis of the transmitted time information.
