PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic medical system and a capsule type medical apparatus, capable of obtaining an image for showing the hardness or softness of a biological tissue present at a position relatively apart from the surface of the living body. SOLUTION: The medical apparatus comprises an ultrasonic transmitting/receiving part for transmitting/receiving ultrasonic waves, an echo signal generating part for generating echo signals, a presser part for applying pressure inside a subject for displacing the state of the subject, a pressure detecting part for detecting the pressure applied to the subject, an image generating part for generating an ultrasonic image, a tomographic image of the subject, a displacement distribution measuring part for computing the distribution of displacement for indicating the position displaced by the pressure applied by the presser part and the quantity of displacement at the position, and an elastic modulus distribution computing part for computing the distribution of the elastic modulus for indicating the elastic modulus at the position where the state is displaced in the period from a prescribed frame to one frame based on the pressure and the distribution of displacement.
