PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a use restraining system capable of keeping the security of a mobile terminal and quickly solving the case of missing a key or like processing. SOLUTION: When the authentication between both a wireless communication unit 30 and the mobile terminal 20 is not attained because of the wireless communication unit 30 apart from a prescribed distance or subjected to like processing, the system places a limit on the functions of the mobile terminal 20 so that the mobile terminal 20 can use only predetermined particular functions thereby being capable of preventing a person picking up or illegitimately acquiring the mobile terminal 20 from illegitimately using the mobile terminal 20 and protecting information having been entered in the mobile terminal 20 for example.
