PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay controller which is prevented from evaporation of moisture of a relay contact even if it is put in a low temperature environment and always assures sufficient contact pressure of the relay contact. SOLUTION: The relay controller comprises a relay drive circuit which supplies drive current to a relay coil 21 which opens and closes relay contacts 22 and 23, a thermistor 7 which detects ambient temperature of the relay. When the thermistor 7 detects a temperature below 0°C or predetermined minus value, the relay drive circuit supplies an average drive current smaller than that at room temperature to the relay coil 21 and the lower temperature it detects, the larger average drive current is supplied to the relay coil 21.
