PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and low power consumption photodetector (OEIC) capable of obtaining a desired combination of received optical signals by freely switching the connection of the light receiving parts of a plurality of dividing lihght receiving devices. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a reception part for receiving a connection designation signal for designating an electric connection state among output signal lines of the plurality of light receiving parts of a main light receiving device 20 and first and second sub-light receiving devices 21 and 22, and a switching circuit 25 for switching connection among output signal lines to obtain a predetermined addition signal based on the connection designation signal.
