PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data management device, a data management method and a data management program, allowing a user to previously easily recognize a deletion plan of file data. SOLUTION: When a display control part 14 displays an icon showing a data file set with an end point of a continuation period on a display screen of a display part 24, a residual period detection part 12 confirms a residual period of the continuation period of each data file. When there is the data file having the residual period smaller than a prescribed value, the display control part 14 moves a display position of the icon showing the data file toward a trash box icon. When the residual period detection part 12 detects the data file having no residual period, a file movement processing part moves the data file to a storage area storing the data file planned with deletion, and a file erasure processing part 18 erases the data file.
