PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine giving a change to a game operation by allowing a player to change a switch function and an operation method of a plurality of operation switches operated by the player when starting or stopping a plurality of reels, reducing fatigue in the shoulders and the arms when continuously playing a game for a long period of time and facilitating the game operation for both right-handed and left-handed players. SOLUTION: This slot machine is provided with a selection means (a selection switch 53) selecting either of respective operation switches 12a, 12b, 12c and 12d as a starting switch, and a game control means has prescribed switch set patterns 1-4 preset for every operation switch to become the starting switch. This slot machine has the control contents defining the operation switch selected by the selection means as the starting switch and defining the residual operation switches as stop switches corresponding to the respective reels (the rotating reels 6a, 6b and 6c) according to the switch set patterns 1-4 allocated to the operation switch.
