The system has an intermediary system that is utilized for connecting an office workstation computer (1) with a checking workstation computer (2). A local file system of an office workstation computer is provided on the intermediary system (6) by a symbolic link. The checking workstation computer accesses the local file system by the symbolic link without routing between the two computers. An independent claim is also included for a method for connecting two computers.
