A line (1) on a connection end (4) is shaped so that the connection end is introduced into a through-hole (3) onto a pipe wall (20) of a fuel distributor strip as far as a stop on a bead (5). On the line's connection end there is a choke (6) that protrudes into the inner space (9) of the fuel distributor strip. An independent claim is also included for a method for connecting a line in a wall of a fuel distributor strip during application of a choke.
