A water surface work ship having a power cultivator is provided to reduce the manufacturing time and the cost by employing a conventional power cultivator. A water surface work ship having a power cultivator includes an upper plate(10), floaters, a power cultivator section(100), and a pair of propelling sections(117a,117b). The floaters are engaged with lower portions of both sides of the upper plate to float the upper plate by using floating forces. The power cultivator is installed on the upper surface of the upper plate to generate power. The propelling sections are disposed on both sides of the upper plate to move the upper plate on the water surface as the propelling sections are rotated by the power transferred from the power cultivator section. The power cultivator section moves the body of the ship forward and rearward by applying power to the propelling section at the same time and the pivotal radius of the upper plate is minimized by applying power to only one of the propelling sections.
