<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device capable of reducing a cost while being capable of improving a productivity and a manufacturing method for the light-emitting device. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting device 1 has a case 3 having an element loading surface on the inside and being opened on the light-extracting side and an LED element 2 being loaded on the element loading surface in the case 3 and having a laminate 4 containing a light-emitting layer 8. In the light-emitting device 1, the inside of the case 3 is filled with a coating material 11 coating a site removing the light-extracting surface 5A of the LED element 2 as the external surface of the laminate 4. In the light-emitting device 1, light-reflecting particles 11A receiving a leakage light emitted into the case 3 from the laminate 4 by the light emission of the light-emitting layer 8 and being used for reflecting the leakage light into the LED element 2 are comprised in the coating material 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
