<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating material for a fiber-reinforced polyamide exhibiting an excellent close adhesion with the fiber-reinforced polyamide. <P>SOLUTION: This coating material for the fiber-reinforced polyamide is provided by using (A) a polyester having 80-450 mgKOH/g hydroxy group value as solid, 1,000-20,000 weight-average molecular weight and <5 mgKOH/g acid value as the solid. Also, the coating material for the fiber-reinforced polyamide contains (B) <100 pts.wt. acrylic resin having 10.2-12.5 SP (solubility parameter) value and 2,000-500,000 weight-average molecular weight based on 100 pts.wt.
