<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of increasing a response speed by suppressing the deterioration of a numerical aperture of a pixel as low as possible. <P>SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device, an active matrix substrate 20a includes: a first transparent electrode 6a and a second transparent electrode 6b disposed on an insulation substrate 10a at every pixels; insulation layers 7 which are disposed on the first transparent electrode 6a and the second transparent electrode 6b and have a first aperture part 7a and a second aperture part 7b of exposing a part of the first transparent electrode 6a and the second transparent electrode 6b rectangularly respectively; and a reflective electrode 8 which is disposed on the upper surface of the insulation layer 7 and is connected with the first transparent electrode 6a across a side wall of the first aperture part 7a. In the first transparent electrode 6a, a part exposed from the reflective electrode 8 across the first aperture part 7a constitutes a first transmission region 15a, an extension part 8a that shields light is disposed along a part of the periphery of the first transmission region 15a and, between the first transparent electrode 6a and the second transparent electrode 6b, a TFT 9b that switches electrical connection between both electrodes 6a and 6b is disposed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
