<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic clutch controller capable of adaptively calculating an optimum value of a clutch stroke at that time from an accelerator opening operated by a driver, and an operating state of an engine at that time. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic clutch controller calculates a target clutch transmission torque from the accelerator opening operated by the driver. An actual transmission torque is calculated from a generated torque of the engine, and a difference with the target clutch transmission torque is determined as a correction amount by PID calculation. The target clutch transmission torque is corrected by subtracting (or adding to) the correction amount from the target clutch transmission torque.
