摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-photon absorption recording material for enabling recording and reproduction by irradiating a recording material with light and detecting the difference of reflectance or luminescence intensity after recording by refractive index modulation, absorptivity modulation or luminescence intensity modulation at high sensitivity by using a two-photon absorption compound.

SOLUTION: The two-photon absorption recording material includes a two-photon absorption pigment denoted by at least the following general formula (1). In the general formula (1): D-L-E-LP, D denotes a group including the two-photon absorption pigment, L just denotes a coupling hand or a coupling group, E denotes a part decoloring linear absorption of the two-photon absorption pigment by cutting coupling with LP, and LP denotes a group including a part cutting coupling with E by optical irradiation.
