PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control peripheral equipment directly via an existing protocol to be used for accessing documents on a network. SOLUTION: The equipment has: a means for acquiring information from a mechanism for performing prescribed operation which composes a part of the peripheral equipment and a mechanism for performing prescribed operation; a means for including the information and creating an http object to prompting a request for operating the mechanism which performs the prescribed operation; a communication means for providing an information processor with the http object and receiving instructions to operate the mechanism for performing the prescribed operation from the information processor; and a means for operating the mechanism which performs the prescribed operation on the basis of the instructions received with the communication means. The means for acquisition acquires the information from the mechanism for performing the prescribed operation operated after operating the mechanism for performing the prescribed operation with the means for operation, and the means for creation creates the http object including the information.
