PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resist rotational torque trying to rotate a movable member around the axis in the reciprocating direction in an electromagnetic reciprocating fluid device of incorporating permanent magnets into the movable member. SOLUTION: This electromagnetic reciprocating fluid device has a pair of electromagnets 28 and 28' and the permanent magnets 26 and 26' held by the movable member 27 in a void formed by oppositely arranging the electromagnets. Reciprocating driving force is imparted to the movable member by magnetic force with the permanent magnets by making an alternating current flow to a coil 34 installed on the electromagnets. One end part of the movable member is connected to a piston 18 of a first piston cylinder assembly 12, and the other end part is connected to a piston 18' of a second piston cylinder assembly 12'. The axis 58 of the first piston cylinder assembly and the axis 59 of the second piston cylinder assembly are not coaxially arranged but arranged by being vertically offset to the axis 60 of the movable member.
