PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent commodities from dropping while minimizing interruption to the charging of commodities to a commodity storing column and to improve safety. SOLUTION: A direct stack storage rack for commodity of an automatic vending machine is provided with commodity storage racks 4 stored in a body cabinet whose front face is opened so as to be freely drawn out from the cabinet and capable of storing various commodities with different sizes, wherein each commodity storage rack 4 is formed of two front and rear commodity storage columns 4c formed sandwiching a partition part 4b to which a vend mechanism is assembled and is provided with doors 11 for closing the opened faces of the two front and rear commodity storage columns 4c. In order to prevent stacked commodities from dropping from the opened face in the case of opening the doors 11 after drawing out the commodity storage rack 4 from the inside of the cabinet and then replenishing commodities from the opened face of the commodity storage rack 4, plastic-made drop prevention members 10 for preventing the drop of commodities are formed on the end face of the partition part 4b in the commodity storage rack 4 so as to face two front and rear commodity storage columns 4c, and the drop prevention members 10 are detachably attached to the end face of the partition part 4b.
