PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insert nut and an insert T nut which use a metal plate with thinner thickness than before, which can form an axle provided with a female thread without forming the female thread by screw-cutting processing, which can eliminate breakage from the part of the hole of the axle with which tools such as a hexagon head wrench is engaged when the hole of the axle is turned by engagement, and which can prevent the turn of only the axle while a bolt or the like is screwed to the axle. SOLUTION: A thread part 8 is formed by pressing dies against one single side of the predetermined metal plate 7, and an unevenness 9 is formed on the other single side of the metal plate 7 along the formation of the thread part 8. Then the metal plate 7 is bent in a cylindrical shape so that the thread part 8 which becomes the female thread 2 is positioned inside, and the cylindrical axle 3 is formed by joining the side edges 7a, 7b confronting each other. Then the exposed outer peripheral surface of the unevenness 9 of the axle 3 is covered with a resin layer 6 which is provided with a projection 5 outside formed by synthetic resin.
