PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such the problems that when a device is attached to the tip of a rod, it is required that the attention for preventing a fishline from being entangled around the device is paid when a tackle is cast into sea, and a signal is transmitted to the fishline to allow the fish biting bait to release the bait. SOLUTION: The rod receiver for sensing the strike is the device used in surf casting by installing the device between the rod and a breakwater or the like, and obtained by fixing a rod receiver 1 and a protrusion 2 for attaching a vibration-detecting device, to the upper part of a spring or the like 3 fixed to a base stand 4 at the lower part and having elasticity in the upper and lower direction, and forming in a base stand 4 a screw hole 5 for attaching a device for emitting sound and light by using the vibration-detecting device as input.
