A new chromium-nickel steel (I) contains (apart from iron and smelting impurities) 16-20% chromium, 10-14% nickel, up to 0.08% carbon, up to 0.1% nitrogen, 0.0015-0.006% boron, 2.4-4.0% manganese, up to 0.8% silicon, 0.15-1.5% molybdenum, 0.2-1.5% copper, up to 0.2% cobalt, 0.02-0.1% aluminum, up to 0.01% sulfur, 0.002-0.15% titanium, 0.002-0.15% vanadium and 0.002-0.15% niobium.
