A linear motion guiding apparatus having a support plate is provided to smoothly roll balls disposed in the linear motion guiding apparatus on an endless orbit. In a linear motion guiding apparatus, an annular ball moving passage in which a plurality of balls moves on an endless orbit and a rail section space into which a rail of a fixation rail of a slide is inserted are formed. The balls roll along the rail section of the fixation rail and move on an endless orbit along the annular ball moving passage and linearly move along the lengthwise direction of the rail of the fixation rail. A slot is formed along the lengthwise direction of the ball moving passage. A support plate(300) is inserted into the slot.
