[Class 99(i)] [Also in Group XXV] In the tyre-removing apparatus described in the parent Specification, which comprises a tyre-support 1 on,which a pillar 4 carrying the tyre-removing members is detachably mounted; the pillar 4 is secured in a socket in the base 1 by a transverse docking-member, shown as pins 5, engaging keyways 6 communicating with groove 7, a key 8 mounted in a slot 9 in the rod being movable into locking engagement with the keyways 6 when the pins 5 are engaged with the groove. Spring blades 10 engage grooves 11, 12 to hold the key 8 in the locking and free positions respectively.</p> |
