A terminal device, a control method of the terminal device, and a computer readable recording medium recorded with a control program for the terminal device are provided to precisely estimate the position at the present time by making the time interval for generating vector information shorter than the time interval for generating positioning information. A terminal device(20) for executing a positioning operation on the basis of a satellite signal of a GPS(Global Positioning System) satellite includes: a satellite signal receiving unit; a positioning information generating unit generating positioning information(154) indicating the location of the terminal device on the basis of the satellite signal; a movement vector information generating unit generating movement vector information(156,156a,156b,156c,156d,156e) indicating movement vector comprising the movement direction and distance of the terminal device, at pre-set time intervals by controlling a movement history measuring unit comprising a rotational speed sensor, an acceleration sensor, and a magnetic sensor; an estimated position information generating unit generating estimated position information(158) about the estimated position at the present time of the terminal device on the basis of the positioning information and the movement vector information; and an estimated position information output unit outputting the estimated position information.
