PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an ink cartridge which can supply ink with less mixing of the air in the ink cartridge where a differential pressure regulating valve is disposed between an ink supplying port and an ink storing region. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing process, the ink supplying port 2 is sealed by a seal 16, and a negative pressure is acted to an ink chamber 4, whereby the air in the cartridge is removed. A pressure of the ink chamber 4 is lowered more than that of an ink feeding chamber 5. Therefore, a valve element 8 moves to the ink chamber side against a spring 21 as shown in Fig. 6(C), forming a gap between a membrane valve seat 3 and a valve element 20. The pressure of the ink chamber 4 and the ink feeding chamber 5 can be reduced accordingly, enabling the ink to be filled in the ink chamber 4 and the ink feeding chamber 5 via the differential pressure regulating valve 3.
