PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an amorphous strip preventing occurrence of defect occurring at the casting-starting time and also, having uniform thickness in the strip width direction and casting direction. SOLUTION: In a producing apparatus for amorphous strip provided with cooling rolls rotating at high speed and a nozzle part for continuously injecting molten metal held in a tundish onto the surface of the roll; this nozzle part is provided with (i) a nozzle tip having a squeezing flow passage communicating with the tundish, a widening flow passage continuous with the squeezing flow passage and a parallel flow passage continuous with this flow passage, and a nozzle slit at the trip end part in the inner part; and further, (ii) the passage width Wz of the squeezing flow passage, the passage width Wn of the parallel flow passage (the maximum passage width of the widening flow passage), the flow passage length Hn from the outlet of the squeezing flow passage to the nozzle slit, the flow passage length h<SB>1</SB>of the widening flow passage, the width Ws of the nozzle slit and the width Wn of the nozzle tip, satisfy Wz/Ws=0.05 to 0.9, Hn/Ws=0.1 to 3.0 and (Wn-Wz)/2h<SB>1</SB>=0.1 to 6.0.
