A vehicle seat having an upper movable member (10) for supporting a headrest (3), a lower movable member (30) provided inside a seatback, and a connection mechanism for connecting the upper movable member and the lower movable member. The connection mechanism has upper link mechanisms (15) positioned at the upper parts of side frames (40) and connected to the upper movable member, lower link mechanisms (32) positioned at the lower parts of the side frames (40) and connected to the lower movable member, and rods (27) extending along the side frames and connecting the upper link mechanisms and the lower link mechanisms. The upper link mechanisms amplify the amount of rearward movement of the lower movable member to move the headrest forward.
