A TUBE/PLATE CONDENSER FOR REFRIGERATORS AND/OR FREEZERS

A tube/plate condenser of a refrigerator/freezer is provided to considerably reduce a carrier panel area. A tube/plate condenser for a refrigerator/freezer includes a tube(3) and a carrier panel(2). The tube is bent so that refrigerant can be condensed in the interior of the tube. The carrier panel is formed of a metal sheet to which the tube is fixed. The carrier panel may be formed of an aluminum sheet and the tube may be a steel tube. The tube is connected to the carrier panel in a shape conforming method or in a force transferring method and is supported by a metal sheet. The tube is inserted into the carrier panel and includes a tube accommodating passage surrounding the tube by a metal sheet. The tube accommodating passage surrounds the tube by an angle of more than 180 degrees. The tube is wound on a metal sheet in a region of the tube accommodating passage.
