<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print controller and its control method for efficiently performing position adjustment of a head of a printer, and to provide a print control program and the printer. <P>SOLUTION: Information regarding the presence/absence of detaching and attaching of a head of a printer as a printing object is acquired (S23); and if determined that the head has been detached and attached, based on the acquired information, a message for prompting the implementation of head position adjustment operation is displayed (S24), before printing started.
