<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paste composition, along with a solar cell element equipped with an electrode formed using the same, for improved adhesion of a rear side electrode, suppressing peeling of an aluminum electrode layer. <P>SOLUTION: The paste composition contains aluminum powder, organic vehicle, and tackifier, for forming an electrode 8 on a silicon semiconductor substrate 1.
