PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive device in which an objective lens less tilts even when the installation attitude of the device is changed and which can stably read disk information out. SOLUTION: The disk drive device 10 has a guide shaft which is fixed to a chassis and an optical pickup which is fitted turnably to the guide shaft and moves along the guide shaft. The optical pickup is equipped with: a lens holder 20 which holds the objective lens 21 emitting a light beam to irradiate an optical disk and has a slide hole 22 bored; a shaft 23 which is inserted into the slide hole 22; a focus coil 25 which is wound around the external wall 24 of the slide hole 22; and a hexagonal magnetic plate 26 which is inserted into the external wall 24 of the slide hole 22 right after the focus coil 25. One side of the hexagonal magnetic plate 26 is folded toward the focus coil 25, and tilted with respect to the surface of the lens holder 20 which has a normal in a sliding direction.
