PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device in which vibration by rotation of a disk and movement of parts by external cause are prevented surely with simple constitution without providing surplus parts. SOLUTION: When a tray is closed and recording/reproducing of the disk or so called seek operation can be performed, a projection 6ha of a leaf spring part 6h is engaged with a small diameter gear part 8b. In this state, even if vibration by rotation of the disk and force by external cause are caused, since engagement of the projection 6ha and the small diameter gear part 8a is not released by operation of elastic force of the lead spring part 6h, a tray gear 8 is nor rotated. Opening operation of the tray is started, RLC of the tray gear 8 is carried out, and the small diameter gear part 8b presses the projection 6ha. At this time, since the leaf spring part 6h is bent in the direction of being separated from the tray gear 8, engagement of the projection 6ha and the small diameter gear part 8a is released and the tray gear 8 can be rotated continuously.
