PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base make-up cosmetic capable of obtaining a finish having a solid feeling, and a natural and healthy skin color. SOLUTION: This base make-up cosmetic comprises (A) 0.1-20.0 wt.% thin film-formed aluminum powder, and (B) plate-formed particles having 1.6-2.7 refractive index by the ratio of (A)/(B)=0.02-4 (weight ratio).
