PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for high-purity hydrogen by which hydrogen can be collected from a reformed gas at high recovery rate, and a facility can be downsized to contribute to its cost reduction. SOLUTION: The production method comprises: reforming a reforming raw material A in a reforming device 1 to obtain a hydrogen-rich reformed gas B; compressing the reformed gas B with a compressor 2 and passing through a PSA (pressure swing adsorption) device 3 to adsorptively remove unnecessary gases other than CO; and passing the resultant gas through a CO-adsorption column 4 which is filled with a CO adsorbent supporting a copper halide to adsorptively remove CO, thus obtaining the high-purity hydrogen E.
