PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cluster system which dynamically controls the correspondence of an application to a computer in accordance with a state of the computer constituting the cluster system and a user's request. SOLUTION: In the cluster system, computers 100a-100c are provided with; state monitoring parts 400a-400c; load monitoring parts 300a-300c; cluster software 200a-200c; and decision-making parts 600a-600c which determines the computers 100a-100c to which applications are taken over for maximizing users' satisfaction with respect to user request items based on information on user request items to the computers from users, information on the states of the applications from the state monitoring parts 400a-400c, and information on the states of the loads on the computers 100a-100c from the load monitoring parts 300a-300c, and indicates the computers 100a-100c, which are the application taking-over destinations, to the cluster software 200a-200c.
