PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder for mounting a display device, the holder having a holding structure capable of positioning a display device as well as removing static charges, and causing no workload or increase in the cost of components during assembling an AV device having a display device. SOLUTION: The holder 16 for mounting a display device is formed as an integral body of a shield plate comprising a metal such as stainless steel, and has a first flat face 17a, a second flat face 17b, and a third flat face 17c. The second and third flat faces 17b, 17c are in the same shape, folded to make a right angle with respect to the first face 17a and disposed parallel to each other as opposing to each other. A lower side of each face has an engaging piece 21a to 21c (piece 21c not shown in the figure) to be engaged with a circuit board (not shown in the figure) to be placed in an almost horizontal direction.
